When the majority of fashion magazine editors are women? Why do men get blamed when women set the standered for other women?
Then why do men get blamed for it? If other women set the standered, how is it men’s fault?
Ehogan: How true!
Most women are harder on each other than men are.
"Oh my god, did you see what she’s wearing?!" "Just look at that fat cow, she should NOT be wearing THAT!"
That’s a mans fault too.

how can you let your parents accpet that you want to put some make-up and New Fashion? i am starting to put make up , well my mom said its ok, but im scared about my dad. im scared he might be mad and let it off my face…help!!!!
If you are that afraid of him, you must submit to him. If your culture requires you to submit to your father to the level that if mom said it’s OK and he might still get mad then perhaps you will shame him if he catches you with it without his permission.
If that is true, take the make up off, go to him and say, "Mom said I could ask you if I may please have your permission to wear make up like other girls my age." If he says, "no" submit and say, "When may I wear make up?"
If that is not the case, don’t worry about it. If he asks why you are wearing makeup, simply say, "I’m ________" whatever age you are. "Mom said that when I’m ______ I can wear makeup and now I am old enough."

Sounds like Saks Fifth Ave (photo in link)

I’m looking for a book that is about the fashion industry (or related) that is based on fact but also interesting and fun to read…
I know they are not about fashion per se but have you read the other Babylon books Hotel Babylon, Babylon Airlines (or something similar) they are all really similar but they are still good reads.

I’v been called up for a interview in a fashion company and i was asked to come with a written copy of my marketing strategy i.e, how i intend on building the clientele for the fashion products. Please is urgent……….i need reply
I applied for the position of Sales/Marketing Executive in a fashion company and i’v been asked to come for an orientation with a written marketing strategy on how to build my clientele.
Congratulations. I also am in the fashion industry. What position are you interviewing for? Here is the link to a marketing report on British fashion. There may be some useful info inside. I wouldn’t worry about being too formal in your report. Just be honest and use market facts and statistics to back your marketing ideas. There is really no wrong answer. Just be creative and use the net to learn the current trends and selling/buying statistics.http://www.bl.uk/collections/business/pdf/fashion_industry_guide.pdf
*** The position you are applying for is important. Edit your question to let me know, and I will edit my answer accordingly with some valid ideas!
