http://www.youtube.com/fashiontv MILAN – Fendi head designer Karl Lagerfeld describes his Spring 2011 line as being one that’s all about softness. The dresses are made of soft material that drapes gracefully around the body and the arms come out of the top in sleeves that are not visible, but still keeps the upper part of the body very sleek. There is soft volume and shape and Karl makes sure to point out that he never uses heavy material. He wanted a look that moves and floats, with a long skirt, soft sleeves, and a belted waist in bright sunset colors like orange-yellow, pink, deep purple, and white. He says it’s a basic color block game with little touches to animate the look in true Fendi spirit.
