This collection, however, was inspired by the intricate motifs of the East, especially Japan where Piacentini explored shapes, volumes, and patterns for her elegant beachwear and loose maxi dresses. She accessorized in the Japanese traditions with high leather belts.

Other bright colors too made an appearance, but these were in dresed up fabrics like tulle, chiffon, satin, georgette, and linen. Mark and James have a new collection derisively called “Mark + James” and they also incorporated these casual pieces–moto jackets, shorts, tops, and other garments into their dressier attire.
